At Silver Mountain, we believe your academic and interpersonal skills are very important. While you study, you will undergo practical training in all the key aspects of hotel management.

Service:

Restaurant Managing theory and practical training in Le brassiere at SMSH.

Kitchen:
Students are taught Food Production skills and develop an understanding of basic culinary techniques at school kitchen

House Keeping :

Students are not only assigned housekeeping duties during all semesters but are also responsible for innovative designs and other management aspects of housekeeping department.

Class Room :

We believe in class room discipline.And we deliberately enforce them to create good classroom environment.

Front Office:

Personality development and customer service training is provided during the front Office practical.

Project:

Each semester, students have to present detailed projects on various subjects.

"The Whiskey Bar" at Silver Mountain.
In our effort to provide quality hospitality education in Nepal ,Silver Mountain recently inaugrated the state of Art bar named as The Whiskey Bar for our students.

We as a team would like to thank Johnnie Walker and its associate brands that kindly consented to build a State of Art Bar for our students.Our heartfelt gratitude to DIAGEO India Pvt. Ltd and its team for believing in our quality education and delivering the exact knowledge of beverage of international brands in Nepal for our students.

Our students will be taught about the different brands of DIAGEO as a part of their curriculum in second year of their four years of study Program. These products will be listed in our Bar and Beverage Management Book The author of this book is our Founder Principal Mr. Samir Thapa, CHE. This book will be delivered to all the affiliated campus of Preston University in 60 locations so that all Preston students will get opportunity to learn it. We are sure that with their help many more students in future could also be beverage experts of international caliber.
